The Spenbrook Mill development remains on the problem site register with Barrowford and Western Parishes Committee. Enforcement Notices and Breach of Condition Notices have been issued.

The Parish Council website is undergoing a substantial redesign.
Spring bulbs have been purchased and are available for residents to plant. Please contact Kathleen Wilkinson for Spenbrook, Beccy Murrell for Sabden Fold and Carl Ryder for Newchurch.

The Christmas lights switch on event has been arranged for November 30th at 5pm in the centre of Newchurch Village. There will be hot mulled wine and mince pies available and Christmas carol singing. All are welcome.

The PC would like to congratulate Bill Mayor, a resident of Newchurch on his recent academic success in gaining a BA honours degree in History. This qualification has taken Bill 6 years of part-time study and at the age of 81 is quite an achievement. Well done Bill.
